RD Game Calls/New To The Country Life

Here’s a husband and wife duo that makes custom resin goods and more! They can incorporate small items such as horsehair into their products! Rex Dewey with RD Game Calls started hunting at a very young age and began wood working in his 20’s, eventually making duck calls because he couldn’t afford to feed his duck call habit.  After years of being a mill right, he’s skilled in not only woodwork, but metal work as well. Most recently,  he has become a resin artist and brings that skill to his duck calls.  Mixing custom colors and incorporating objects like grass, horsehair, or even ashes for memorial calls is his focus now.

He’s also put his metal and fabrication skills to work, creating a new, thick plastic gopher call that will be available in the coming months.  Prototypes are already being tested!

Living on the banks of the Snake River in Idaho allows him unique opportunities to test duck calls, goose calls and gopher traps. Country life is fun!

Shanna with New To The Country Life lives in the country on the banks if the Snake River as well. She became a crafter and resin artist after back injuries caused her to look for a different way to support her family.  Now, she lives out her dreams making things for people that they love and cherish!
