The Cowboy Way Jubilee {event}

The Cowboy Way Jubilee is scheduled to bring the wild west to West Texas April 29 to May 2, 2021. Leslei Fisher, the great-great niece of sharp-shooter Annie Oakley, will throw open the gates of San Angelo’s Fort Concho.

After three years in Oklahoma, the event offers a modern-day wild west experience. Fans can get up close and personal with Western stars, such as cast members of The Virginian and Barry Corbin, of The Ranch fame.

There will be authors, poets and look-a-likes, workshops, and demos. Learn to play the Harmonica, lasso, or sculpt in clay. The CWJubilee features the WesternsChannel.com Film Festival, the premier of a new movie short, discussions, and the larger-than-life people who acted in the best-loved TV series. There is cowboy music & poetry all day every day performed by award-winning musicians, singers, and story tellers. Food and vendors are also a part of the CWJubilee making up the Cowboy Crossroads Market.

Fisher has produced the event since it started at the Gene Autry Oklahoma Museum of Local History.  “We are very excited to be bringing the CWJubilee to San Angelo and Fort Concho,” she said. “What a friendly supportive community! We look forward to a long relationship.”

The Cowboy Way Jubilee is a fun-filled weekend for the whole family. All kids under 18 are admitted FREE. There are fees for workshops or special movies, but kids can meet the stars and listen to music completely free.
