We have 4 styles available to choose from the 2 knot, 4 knot and paracord nosebands to add to either the 2 knot or 4 knot. We will work with you to pick the perfect color rope as well as the perfect color noseband! We offer three different styles of rope including soft double braid polyester, firm polyester and stiff polyester used to make training halters. The sizes available are weanling, yearling, small, average and large. We also make miniature horse halters in small, medium and large. Whether you want to color coordinate with your barn, blanket or show colors we will work with you to design the perfect halter!
Twisted Knot Halters started with a desire to build halters in various hard to find sizes as well as being made of quality materials that will stand up to the test of time. Little Larkspur Leathercraft was named for the wildflower that grows in the mountains of Montana. You will often find me here – on the back of a horse. It was my desire to create my own tack that inspired me to start making unique leather goods. For me, art and usefulness are not mutually exclusive. After graduating from Montana State University in 2020, leather work became a career choice and Little Larkspur Leathercraft was founded.

About us: Each cinch is hand-tied in Bozeman, Montana, by sisters Dana and Tracy Eklund. Big Sky Mohair Cinches was born out of necessity- a horse at the therapeutic riding program where they worked required a 42″ cinch- a tough size to find! Their goal is to create a highly usable piece of tack that is as functional as it is beautiful. Because a comfortable horse can get the job done.

Jay and Karlee Long of Vale Oregon. Jay started doing leather work back in high-school mainly making tack he could use to cowboy. He and Karlee married in 2012 and Karlee began to do beadwork in 2015. She had to start doing her own leather work not long after because Jay didn’t have the time. Now together they have built JL Custom Leather. They also work for Karlees dad on his ranch and run some of their own cows.
