Little Larkspur Leathercraft

Little Larkspur Leathercraft was named for the wildflower that grows in the mountains of Montana. You will often find me here – on the back of a horse. It was my desire to create my own tack that inspired me to start making unique leather goods. For me, art and usefulness are not mutually exclusive. After graduating from Montana State University in 2020, leather work became a career choice and Little Larkspur Leathercraft was founded.

Grand View Pottery

Each piece is individually thrown on the wheel or constructed from a slab. I use hand mixed glazes that are food safe and can handle a ride in the dishwasher or microwave for convenience. I prefer my pots to be able to be in hands, on tables, or sitting dirty in the sink rather than tucked up in a cupboard or on display having people afraid to use them. The love of the mid-western lifestyle I was blessed to be raised in, and the love of my home state, Montana, carry strongly in my work. Community, friends and family are dear to me and often a piece is inspired or spurred on by them. The Lord has wired each one of us differently. I find great joy in being a maker. From throwing to individually pulling a handle the lovely adventure of clay holds me captive. I desire that my pieces might be ambassadors of that joy, bringing bits of happiness into others daily lives and routines.
